Common questions

When does my cover start?

At the exact date and time you choose during the quote — it can start immediately or be scheduled up to 30 days ahead.

What documents do I receive?

A Certificate of Motor Insurance (reference format TC‑XX‑XXXXXXXX) and a Statement of Fact & Declaration, generated the moment your payment completes. The certificate satisfies the requirements of the relevant law applicable in Great Britain, Northern Ireland, the Isle of Man, and the islands of Alderney, Guernsey and Jersey.

What can I use the car for?

Cover is for social, domestic and pleasure purposes, plus use by you in person in connection with your own business or profession.

What's not covered?

Cover does not extend to:
  • Use for hiring, commercial travelling, or any purpose connected with the Motor Trade
  • Racing, pacemaking, competition, rallies, trials or speed testing
  • Using the vehicle to secure the release of another vehicle seized by or on behalf of a Government or public authority
